Shannon Ryan is an award-winning freelance short film producer in Chelsea, New York. Ever since her first memory, she has been passionate about film & television. Shannon has since found a niche as a short film producer and screenwriter.

In 2016, Shannon was the first recipient of The BAFTA New York Woman Of Her Word scholarship. She remained a subsequent BAFTA scholar in 2017 and 2019 before joining the organizations' Newcomers program as an alumni & Connect member. She was one of the eleven fellows selected for the inaugural Netflix & Respectability Children's Content Lab For Disabled TV Creatives in fall 2023 for the development track. Shannon is also the producer of A Home For Curiosities, Andy & Kaliope, Bear, and Unlucky In Love. The buddy comedy Cripped Up and the animation/live-action hybrid short The Curious Incident Of Everett Wilder is coming to your screens soon.
